The Ace King Draw is an Americana duo with each member hailing from opposite sides of America. Jake was raised to slap around the double bass on the west coast, and grew up touring the Rockabilly circuits in the west. Brendan, on guitar, was born and raised in North Carolina playing punk rock shows in the abandoned buildings and hidden skateparks with everyone from The Avett Brothers, Future Islands to Wesley Willis.
Dirty fate, contaminating pandemics, and a filthy love of The Misfits brought them together in Centerville, Mass where they sharpened their own original songs into a stripped down, unique blend of punk-folk improv that can only be described as a Django Reinhardt fever dream of an endless jam session with Hank Williams and Shane MacGowan.
In this age of oversaturation where AI sludge swells from the cracks created by the overbuilt social media empire, The Ace King Draw are determined to bring back community and connection with nothing more than the ten simple strings on their instruments, the DIY ethic that made them love music and the two voices they were born with.
